WHAT MY OWNER SAYS ABOUT ME...
From the moment I first laid eyes on the castle I knew I had to have it. This stunning historical Castle just blew me away with it's grace and elegance. When I walked into the warehouse style apartment the 14 foot ceilings and large windows that just flooded in sunlight were just the deal sealer for me. With it's locality to the strip in Mt Lawley and the minutes walk to the riverside, I would spend many a day walking to East Perth for a relaxing drink before walking back the 10 minute to home. This building has many stories and history behind it, apart from the fact that it was initially built as a chocolate factory after Albany Bell went to New York and saw a similar building there. They used to dip the chocolates in what is the cavities between the walls. For a while it was a chicken farm and then it became the administration for the Air Force. The history and stories this building has are priceless. And when you sit in the courtyard and relax it has a very majestic feel about it.
